One at the center intersection of each structural cup. This eliminates any flat areas which are weak spots in early designs.
All yikuan panels have 15 welds along each perimeter edge: a 50% increase , and a total of 20 extra welds around the entire panel perimeter . The additional 20 welds dramatically improve edge load capabilities, and overall panel durability.
Yikuan panels come with 90 degree deep drawn steel beam corners, filled with high strength cement. Any load placed on the panel will be transferred to the panel corners before traveling through the pedestals to the sub-floor.
Though Yikuan deep drawn beam corner is a difficult manufacturing process, it is done in order to achieve the ultimate loading capacity necessary to prevent bending upwards of corners or dishing panels. Cement is filled using a high pressured pump to ensure that sufficient cement mix reaches all corners of the panel.
Close attention should be paid to the strength of the corner areas of the panel as it is the ultimate determinant of an excellent raise floor system.
Ultimate load capacity is defined as the point at which panel failure occurs. Such failure might cause human injury or massive equipment damage.
In order to prevent such injury or damage from occurring , Yikuan panels are designed built to a minimum safety factor of 2.5.(ie. A 1000lbs rated panel must be able to support a minimum of 2500lbs before failure occurs.)
After welding, each Yikuan panel is put into a flattening press and checked for flatness. Yikuan is the only company to go this extra mile in order to guarantee a super flat panel.
